My father received numerous bruises while there. I also noticed his ankle was swollen and purple and showed it to the nurse, who dismissed it on numerous occasions. Finally, it got so bad that they showed it to the doctor who sent him to the hospital". Turned out he had two blook clots and he died two weeks later/.
I saw them being very rough with my father, and witnessed a resident not being served dinner?. When I told the aide that resident was not served any food, she said "oops, I forgot":.
If you cannot hire your own aide to watch over your loved one, do not put them at Emeritus!. They care about getting your money (very expensive) but they don't offer any services for it:. They charge for care they don't give..
I believe if my father was not in the care of (or should I say lack thereof), my father would still be alive?.
